Advance Registration for Spring 2023

Dear EE Majors, The clearing of advance registration will begin on October 3, 2022. The schedule of courses will open at the end of the month. Advising holds will be placed at the end of the month, too. Students Directions: 1) Complete the Online Advance Registration Form (ALL STUDENTS) 2) Upload a 3-semester Schedule (Spring, Summer, Fall) 3) Select an appointment or email to clear advising holds 4) Clear all other holds by registration date   Clearing advising holds via scheduled appointments The appointment booking link will open on September 30, 2022. This booking link is to be used specifically for advance registration. It will have open slots for after-hours appointments Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 pm -6:45 pm. National Microelectronics Security Training Center Workshop

Hi everyone,   On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, from 1pm to 5pm in room MAE 119, we will be holding a training on microelectronic packaging. Fall 2022 Career Showcase

 Hello EE Majors As we are approaching to the Fall 2022 Career Showcase, I would like to share the progress so far, and what is available for students to get ready for the season. So far, we have 374 employers signed up for the week and attending different events and days. This is 18% increase compared to pre-pandemic. C3 is working on plan to offer guided tour for faculty and staff. If you are interested to visit the showcase, please let me know. O’Dome center: Students entrance, Gate 3.   ECE Department Undergraduate Graduating with Honors (Magna& Summa)   ECE Department Policies and Procedures 1)       Students can not use their senior design project for their honors thesis 2)       Published papers that a student is part of a group by-line. The student must work with their research supervisor to extrapolate their contribution to writing a singular separate paper. 3)       The honors thesis topic must be Electrical Engineering related 4)       It is strongly recommended to start 2-3 semesters before your expected graduation semester. 5)       Final Oral Examination is due 1-week to 10 days before the last day of classes. It is the student's responsibility to schedule the presentation and remember the deadline dates. 6)       All forms are due to the ECE Academic Advisor by the end of classes the semester you are graduating.
