Fall 2022 Career Showcase

 Hello EE Majors

As we are approaching to the Fall 2022 Career Showcase, I would like to share the progress so far, and what is available for students to get ready for the season.

So far, we have 374 employers signed up for the week and attending different events and days. This is 18% increase compared to pre-pandemic.

C3 is working on plan to offer guided tour for faculty and staff. If you are interested to visit the showcase, please let me know.

O’Dome center: Students entrance, Gate 3. Faculty and Staff entrance, Gate 4.

 

Career Showcase Week Events details:

  1. Sep. 26th: AI-CISE career fair, 1 to 6 pm at the O’Dome Center. (47 employers)
  2. Sep. 27th: Non-Tech day, 9 am to 3 pm at the O’Dome Center. (181 employers)
  3. Sep. 27th : Diversity Meet up (informal networking session designed for underrepresented students), Grand Ball room, Reitz Union (86 employers)
  4. Sep. 28th: Tech day (Engineering Day!!) , 9 am to 3 pm at the O’Dome Center. (222 employers)
  5. Sep. 28th: MSE-NU career fair, 9 am to 11:30 am at the O’Dome Center – Center Club Court. (15 employers)
  6. Sep.28th: ABE career fair, 12:30 to 3:00 pm at the O’Dome Center – Center Club Court. (22 employers)

 

C3 services available for students prior to the showcase week:

  1. Resume critique and any questions: Walk in, no appointment needed. (Sep.19 to Sep. 26, 10 am to 4 pm every day)
  • Sep. 19, Sep. 21, Sep.23, in-person at the Career Connections Center
  • Sep. 20, Sep. 22, Sep. 24, Sep.26, virtually in the Zoom
  1. Prepare for the showcase and stand out workshop: Sep. 19, 3 to 4 pm. Virtual event.
  2. UF Career Closet: Get the professional attire for the career showcase, interview and more. Walk in, Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm.
  3. Professional Headshot: Schedule appointment in Gator CareerLink with Career Closet.

 ECE Scholarships application will open on February 1, 2023 ECE Scholarships application will open on February 1, 2023 All students should submit their ECE Department scholarship application on February 28, 2023. The link for the 2023-2024 ECE Department Scholarships will be posted on this web page https://www.ece.ufl.edu/academics/undergraduate/advising/department-scholarship-application/. The 2023-2024 department scholarships are awarded in the Fall 2023 semester. If you are graduating in the spring or summer of 2023, you are ineligible to apply.
