 EE Updates & Reminders for Fall 2022

Updates

1)      New online minor form through ONE.UF begins Fall 2022. The link is under Academics

2)      Minor requirements in relation to major requirements

a.       Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.

b.       Engineering minors also count for Interdisciplinary electives make sure you have the 6-credit difference.

3)      New Physics minor requirements, https://catalog.ufl.edu/UGRD/colleges-schools/UGLAS/PS_UMN/.  If you are planning to complete the minor contact the Physics department.  EE majors should complete option B

4)      Math minor requirements, https://catalog.ufl.edu/UGRD/colleges-schools/UGLAS/PS_UMN/

 

 

Reminders:

1)      EEL3872 & EEL3003 do not count for degree requirements

2)      Academic Forms that the EE Advisor will complete and sign.  Please send forms through the EE Secure Form upload, https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bKlsTB7kRVMyXcy

3)      Drop Policy and Procedure

a.       Last Day to Drop 11/21/22

b.       Procedure

Electrical Engineering  Drop Procedure

1.       Go to ONE.UF Dashboard

2.       Click tri-stack, look under Registration, click on Add/Drop/Swap Classes

3.       Under the term click on “Go To My Schedule”

4.       Click on the course you want to drop. Follow the directions that shown in the prompts

5.       Notify your advisor that you have submitted a SIDA request

6.       Verify Drops remaining (If no drops remain, complete a college petition to request an additional drop)

7.       EE: Send an authorization email to drop the course to your EE Advisor with this information

1.       UFID, Course, Class number, Semester

2.       Have you dropped a course in a prior semester? Yes or No

3.       Do you authorize me to drop your course? Yes or No
