ECE Scholarships application will open on February 1, 2023

All students should submit their ECE Department scholarship application on February 28, 2023.

The link for the 2023-2024 ECE Department Scholarships will be posted on this web page https://www.ece.ufl.edu/academics/undergraduate/advising/department-scholarship-application/.

The 2023-2024 department scholarships are awarded in the Fall 2023 semester. If you are graduating in the spring or summer of 2023, you are ineligible to apply.

SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS

Scholarships are awarded the following academic year (2022-2023)  from the date of your application.  ECE scholarships are awarded in the fall semester only. ECE scholarship applications open early spring semester and close 4 weeks after the deadline.  Students awarded scholarships will be notified by the end of the spring semester.  Scholarship recipients must submit a Thank you letter for funds to be disbursed.  The student must notify the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships of their scholarships.

Students with a GPA below 2.00 or on academic probation are not eligible to receive a scholarship.

Successful applications are awarded based on several factors, including academic performance, participation in departmental activities, and need-based. Please use the link provided to complete your application by the deadline.

The ECE Department awards several scholarships to students who have exhibited exemplary academic performance, participated in community service (both on- and off-campus), and has demonstrated economic need. ECE Department scholarships are made possible by the generous contributions of our donors. Some scholarships offered through this program are need-based. In order to be considered for need-based scholarships, you must complete a FAFSA each year.
