LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY: STUDENT GOVERNMENT SENATOR

Hello EE majors,

I am involved in student government here at UF and wanted to reach out to see if the following email could be sent to your students!

“UF Student Government parties will be holding interviews to select this semester’s Student Government Senate Candidates from January 28th, 30th, 31st, and February 1st. The College of Engineering holds 4 seats in UF Senate and could use motivated and passionate students to run.

Being a senator involves controlling a $22 million dollar budget, which can be used to improve the university and even specific departments at UF. As a senator, you will not only gain invaluable leadership skills but also effectively make a difference on your campus by the time you graduate. Whether you wish to work on traffic safety, environmental policies, mental health, project funding, or even improving UF libraries, this is a fantastic opportunity. The skills and connections you can make as a senator will undoubtedly be used for future career opportunities.

Interviews will be conducted on the 2nd floor of the Reitz. Be sure to bring your Gator1 ID and have a mask handy!”

You can provide your students with my contact information if they have any questions:
