NanoDay 2021

Dear UF Nano Community,

There is still time to get your abstracts submitted to NanoDay 2021.

The due date has been pushed back to the morning of Wednesday, October 7th (a am)!

See below for the links and instructions.

Please get yours in right away!

Dear UF Students,

It’s time for UF students interested in nanoscale fields to come together for National Nanotechnology Day (NanoDay), when we celebrate nanoscale science/engineering/technology, recognize researchers advancing the field, applaud innovators translating outcomes into valuable products and services, and increase understanding for their potential to positively impact lives.

Following up on our prior message, we ask that all those engaged in nanotechnology-related research consider submitting an abstract and presenting a poster about it next week!

  • Poster Abstract Submission (guidelines and form) – now due morning of Wednesday, October 6th (8 am)
  • Poster File Submission (guidelines and form) – now due morning of Thursday, October 7th (8 am)
  • Poster Presentation Video Submission (guidelines and form) – now due morning of Friday, October 8th (8 am)

There is also an image contest for the best micro and nanoscale images:

This year UF NanoDay 2021 will be held two sequential days:

  • Monday Oct 11th (in-person research symposium)
  • Tuesday Oct 12th (virtual Research Service Center open house and lab tours)

Please register for each separately to help us manage and plan the needed resources:

MONDAY, OCT 11 – RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM REGISTER HERE!

TUESDAY, OCT 12 – RSC OPEN HOUSE REGISTER HERE!

We also encourage all students interested in NanoDay to join the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Student Council (NNSC) – JOIN HERE

For more information about the NanoDay Events, please see below:

The first day of UF NanoDay 2021 will be a live in-person research symposium, that will include presentations, a poster session, an industry panel, and other events listed below on the agenda.
