As of next week, we will be using Microsoft Bookings to schedule virtual appointments for the fall semester.  This will free up space on your canvas page calendar.  The link for my booking site will be in three locations 1) Signature box in my email 2) On the ECE Advising page 3) On the ECE FAQ page.  Appointments will be 15 minutes in length. You will receive a reminder email and text.

UPDATES

 EE COURSE UPDATE

As of Spring 2022, EEE3396C and EEE4260C will be dropping their labs moving to 3 credits.  The 4-EEE3396C will be offered in the Fall semester. 

EEL3472C will be offered under EEL4930 this fall semester. The course credit will be 3 credits.  The course will not have a lab attached to the lecture.  The course will still count for the EE Breadth course.  To completed an EE Breadth course, you are required to complete a 1-credit EEL4905 with an ECE Faculty member. This will give you the 4-credits that are needed to meet the EE  Breadth requirements.  The 3-credit course can count as an EE Technical Elective.

The  1-credit independent study of EEL4905 can be any topic of your choice within the electrical engineering area of concentration and ECE Faculty.  The guidelines for EEL4905 are on this form; https://www.ece.ufl.edu/wp-content/uploads/forms/IndividualStudyGuidelines.pdf (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.)

This is the form you will need to complete for registration, https://www.ece.ufl.edu/wp-content/uploads/forms/EEL4905Form_2013.pdf (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.).  This form must be submitted by August 27, 2021, by 3:00 pm.  Please upload the form to this link  https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bKlsTB7kRVMyXcy (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.).  The ECE SSO will register you for the course.

 

EEL3872 is designed for non-engineering majors.  Please select a different course to meet degree requirements.  If you have any questions, contact your academic advisor.

EEL 3850 Data Science for ECE ( EE MAJORS THIS COURSE COUNTS FOR THE STATISTICS REQUIREMENT) Credits: 4 credits   Pre-requisites: MAC 2312 Calculus II and EEL 3834 Programming I or equivalent

Internship:

Research:

 Fall 2021 Graduation-Grad Check 

If you are planning to graduate in the fall semester and you have registered for all courses needed to meet degree requirements.  Your degree audit should look like this Example of BSEE Degree Audit.docx.  If your audit does not look like that. Contact your advisor.

  • In an effort to get the most honest information the ECE department does not do have exit interviews. Instead, we use an Exit Survey.
